ST. LOUIS (September 1, 2015) – Arcade Apartments is not only designed to meet the needs of artists and those with an appreciation of the arts, but it is also designed with the fitness enthusiast in mind.
The historic building, opening in December 2015, will feature a state-of-the-art fitness center with steam room and separate, contemplative yoga studio. Residents also can take advantage of a Fitness on Demand™ studio, offering a wide variety of virtual fitness class choices, without the cost of a gym membership. Residents using Fitness on Demand simply go to the touchscreen kiosk located in the fitness center and choose the workout they want to do.
Fitness on Demand offers classes for all ages and workout levels. With just a touch of a button, residents can choose from a number of fun, exciting, heart-pumping exercise videos like kickboxing, Latin dance, cycling, and more. The program offers residents a lot of flexibility – they can select the workout they like and do it when they want to – alone or with others.
In addition to the fitness center, Arcade Apartments offers residents a 19th floor rooftop terrace that features panoramic views of the city, with a water feature, gas fireplace, lounge furniture and outdoor landscaping. Other amenities include a rooftop indoor clubroom with commercial kitchen; theater room with two 60-inch HD televisions; indoor bicycle storage and storage lockers; underground parking garage; car wash system; and electric car charging stations.
The renovation of the historic Arcade Building is the largest apartment renovation to be undertaken in St. Louis in decades. The property includes 202 artist lofts and 80 market rate units.
